Hello, and welcome to Wazinga.com. I hope to make this site a new and improved version of Hokie Pick ‘em. The only content right now is a simple forum. If you are a Hokie Pick ‘em user, please register for an account and join us in the forum where you can help shape the new version of the site.
I have a lot of ideas for things I’d like to do, but I am definitely interested in your input as well.

The transitive property states that if A > B and B > C, then A > C. (For a more detailed and accurate explanation, check you local Wiki.)
Transitivity is generally dismissed in the context of college football. There is even a fun web site where you can pit any two teams against each other and “prove” that one is transitively better than the other. You can even flip it to show the inverse relationship.

This week everyone picked 4 games right and virtually everyone had 7.
The Virginia - Louisiana Tech game was just about 50-50. Most of us missed the VT game and not a single person picked Georgia Tech to lose.

This week the best picking was in the Michigan State-Ohio state. We were only off by 1.4 points.
The worst was the GT-MTSU game where we missed by 49.5 points. VT's early season win over GT is looking a little less impressive.

Here we are on Wednesday. Let's take a look at the Hokie Pick 'em zeitgeist.
So far our fearless pickers are leaning heavily on the favorites. Only 3 underdogs have the majority of players thinking they will cover.

We did pretty well this week. All players had 6 games picked correctly. The real difference makers were the GT-Miami game with only 3% of players getting it right and the Rutgers-Arkansas game with just 21% correct.

Here we can see how well Hokie Pick'em users did last week.
Points-wise we were collectively the best on the USC-California game. Only missing by .17 points. We were the worst on the Georgia-Vanderbilt game, missing by 28 points.

Here are the picks so far this week. On average, players agree with the spreads with the exception of the Tennessee-Florida game. We seem to think Florida should be favored.
The biggest disagreement is Alabama-Arkansas. Our players think the TIde will roll over Arkansas. It might have something to do with the ULM game last week.

I decided to whip up a chart showing all the user picks for week 2. It looks like we collectively were the closest on the VT game.
